April Business of the Month
This month we’re highlighting a local business that a lot of you already know and use, Active Soles, owned by Teresa White and located right in downtown Thomasville, Georgia.
If you’ve ever stepped foot in the store, you know this isn’t your average shoe shop.
It’s a true run specialty store with people who actually understand movement, training, and what you need to stay doing both.
They carry all the major brands you would expect, Altra, Brooks, Hoka, ON Running, New Balance, and Saucony, plus OOFOS for recovery. Whether you’re logging miles, doing Murph prep, or just need something that doesn’t wreck your feet during workouts, they’ll get you in the right pair.
Beyond shoes, they have a solid lineup of nutrition options like Tailwind, Honey Stinger, and Clif, easy grab-and-go fuel that actually supports what you’re doing in the gym or outside of it.
They also carry apparel and gear from brands like Born Primitive, Oiselle, Balega, Wrightsock, Chicknlegs, and Feetures (and yes… probably the best socks you’ll find around here).
And then there’s everything else, the extras that matter more than you think:
Goodr sunglasses, Nathan accessories, TriggerPoint recovery tools, Body Glide… all the small things that make training more comfortable and recovery more effective.
What really sets Active Soles apart is the community side of it.
They host weekly group runs:
• Tuesdays & Thursdays at 5:30am
• Saturdays at 6:45am
It’s a great way to mix things up, get outside, and plug into another part of the Thomasville fitness community.
